WHAT YOUR DONATION WILL DO
- Provide monthly allowances for the Mozambican workers consisting of the Director and his family, the 7 Hub superintendants and their families and the 15 parttime discipling class teachers.
- Provide travelling and subsistence costs for field workers to get to their classes and other meetings, travel to Head Office, etc. They either walk, travel by bicycle or use a taxi.
- Provide houses for Hub supervisors and their families. (Rivoni provides a three roomed house constructed of wooden poles, plastered with clay under a corrugated iron roof).
- Upkeeping of the buildings at Headquarters consisting of a two-roomed flat, sleeping facilities for a number of people, a hall for giving lectures and holding of staff and board meetings, two offices, an ablustion block and a borehole with pump.
- Buy and maintain an Ldv to be used by the Director to visit the hubs spread over some 900 x 300km, travelling to Chokwe, Maputo for interaction with the government and at times to South Africa to meet with the SA Director or obtain provisions not available in Mozambique.
- Provide computers, printers and a photocopier for admin work.
- Provide airtime and data bundles to communicate by cell phone or e-mail.
- Provide for the printing of study guides for the students.
- In short: It will enable us to do what needs to be done to disciple some 1217 students every year, based on the Aug 2023 attendance. They will receive one of our four consecutive Bible based courses, each running for approximately one year. To support this work, is an investment in God’s eternal Kingdom. On entering heaven, you will see the fruit of your investment and be welcomed by those for whom you opened the gates to eternal glory.
C. MORE ABOUT FUNDING
Rivoni Ministries is not carried financially by any church or other organization that pledged to contribute fixed amounts regularly. It operates by faith that the Lord will provide for His work and is funded by voluntary donations.
We operate on a cash basis and are free of debt. If no funds are vailable beforehand, no contracting of services or ordering of materials, equipment or vehicles is done.
This discipling misnistry is provided free of charge to those that are in earnest to become followers of Christ.
We may add that Mozambique is one of the poorest countries in the world. In many of the country homes where we operate, you may never find as much as a single coin. They make a living by tilling the soil or even by digging for edible roots of plants.
What a privilege it is for such a poor person to receive eternal life and become a citizen of a better Kingdom.
